I don’t usually use pork in a stir fry, but this turned out really good. I also added some sriracha at the end, because we like things spicy.

  • 1 Pound
boneless pork loin, cut into thin strips
  • 1 Tablespoon
    oil
  • 1
    small sweet onion, sliced
  • 2
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tablespoon
    grated fresh ginger
  • 12 Ounces
fresh asparagus, trimmed and cut into 2" pieces
  • 1/4 Cup
    soy sauce
  • 1/4 Cup
    water
  • 1 Tablespoon
    honey
  • 2 Teaspoons
    cornstarch
  • 1 1/2 Cup
pineapple chunks (fresh or drained canned

Instructions

  1. Cook pork in oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet or wok until just browned.

  2. Stir in onion, garlic, and ginger and cook until onions are soft.

  3. Stir in asparagus and cook until they are tender-crisp.

  5. Serve over hot cooked rice, if desired.
