Don’t spend $3-4 on store-bought hummus. I often find garbanzo beans for $1 each, and the rest I usually have on hand. Serve with pita chips or fresh veggies.


Ingredients

  • 1
    can drained garbanzo beans (liquid reserved)
  • 1/4 Cup
    garbanzo bean liquid
  • 1/4 Cup
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 Cup
    olive oil
  • 1
    garlic clove
  • 1 Teaspoon
    ground cumin
  • 1/4 Teaspoon
    cayenne pepper
  • 1 Teaspoon
    kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender or food processor. I have a Ninja and that works really well. Blend until smooth. That's it!
